Indexation

The value of money decreases due to inflation. If prices rise, you can buy less items with the same amount of money. This means the purchasing power of money decreases. This also applies to your pension. In order to maintain the purchasing power of your pension, Pensioenfonds Ernst & Young in liquidatie tries to increase the pensions annually. We call this indexation.

Provisional indexation

Pensioenfonds Ernst & Young in liquidatie annually decides whether or not it is possible to increase the pensions. This depends on the investment yield earned. This is why the increase is conditional: you are not automatically entitled to it.

Indexation in the last three years

The pension fund has increased your pension with the following rates in the last three years:

• With 1.75% as of 1 January 2023. During this year the price level increased with 16.9%.
• With 1.39% as of 1 January 2022. During this year the price level increased with 3.3%.
• With 0.42% as of 1 January 2021. During this year the price level increased with 1.1%
