What has been arranged in case you become disabled during your employment with EY or HVG Law?
If you become disabled, you will receive benefits from the UWV. This means that your current income is arranged through the government. The UWV benefits stop once you start receiving a state pension. In some cases the benefits will be stopped if you move abroad.
If you became incapacitated for work prior to 1 January 2018, you will still accrue a pension with Pensioenfonds Ernst & Young in liquidatie for the part that you are incapacitated for work. Aegon pays the premium for this. For the part that you are still working or will work, the pension will be accrued with Cappital as of 1 July 2018.
Did you become incapacitated for work on or after 1 January 2018? Then as of 1 July 2018, your pension accrual will continue with Cappital.
