As of 1 July 2018, our pension fund will no longer service EY and HVG Law’s pension scheme. The employer has not been paying the premiums to our pension fund since that date and since then, Pensioenfonds Ernst & Young in liquidatie has been operating as a closed pension fund.
Since the closure, you can no longer accrue a pension with Pensioenfonds Ernst & Young in liquidatie. The pension that has already been accrued with Pensioenfonds Ernst & Young in liquidatie will remain in place and when you retire we will pay this pension for as long as you live.
If you are still employed by EY or HVG Law, you will have been accruing a pension at Cappital since 1 July 2018.
If you start working somewhere else and join another pension scheme, you can opt to take the pension that you have accrued with Pensioenfonds Ernst & Young in liquidatie with you to the new pension fund. This is called a value transfer. Arrange the value transfer through your new pension provider.
